Good morning to you!
Thank you for coming here!

Stinker, our cat, decided to come back yesterday and visit. She’s basically divorced us, but returns every couple of weeks for a snack.
We don’t know where she goes, but she stays plump, so we believe another family has taken her in. It’s quite the mystery.
I talked to her, petted her, and held her for a couple minutes. Stinker growled the whole time. She hopped back down and ran back down the driveway to wherever it is that she lives now.
We do feel sort of blessed when she comes back, but sort of sad since she clearly does not want to stay. I trapped her inside the last time she came, and she spent the 15 or so minutes of her time yelling at me to let her out, so I did.
I’ve always heard of the cats that come back, but not this version. Tell me if you have ever had a cat break up with you!
Have a good day!
Laurie

I have never heard of a cat break up, Laurie! I’m sure you wonder what kind of adventures Stinker has when not with you! What a cute name! Thanks for the party!
Stinker sounds like he has quite the personality. Thanks for the party.
Yes, Laurie both my daughter & I have had cats do that too.
In different locations & decades but they also would come for the occasional visit! We also presumed other families had adopted them.
It was quite strange.
Blessings, Jennifer
Strange for sure!
