Hello, Friends!
Now it feels like Spring in earnest! We were about 78 degrees today, and all sunny! It was a beautiful day to enjoy outside! And I did a little of that! I spent some time out on my parents’ porch swing, tried a little nap, but never did doze off. I think that being in town is way noisier than on our homestead, and I’ll have to admit that the highway noises did distract me. But I did enjoy the time!My mom is doing well. She is getting rehab, and is highly motivated to do her part so that she can get home! 🦵
It’s been very different with our family scattered here and there, but we are figuring it out. I’m mostly with my dad, and am only home for short visits. That certainly causes some wrinkles, but I’ve been grateful that my family has risen to the occasion and everyone is doing their best.
Funny thing–I slept at home last night, and Hairball, our cat, really seemed to welcome me! He’s become so affectionate in his old age! He would not stop head-butting me and snuggling/purring! That made me feel good! Then we woke up this morning and realized he was out of water, so all of that love could have been a business call! 
Cats are kids! They are buggy but they make life a lot more colorful!
