Welcome to the Homestead Blog Hop!

It’s morning on the homestead.

I’m sitting in my red recliner listening to the birds as they wake up for the day. They sound chipper.

I do not feel chipper.

I got up with our youngest at 4:30 to see him off for an early workday. That set my mind into motion, and it hasn’t quit, so I’ll crash later on.

For now, I’ll enjoy the sounds of nature outside my window.
