Thanksgiving Week!

I am super thankful that we have Thanksgiving coming up this week! This means some coveted time with family, and I look forward to that for sure.

We like to gather and after we’ve eaten, we typically play board games. We have a great time, and it rarely gets ugly.

My brother is coming from out of town, and we like to celebrate his birthday when he comes. I actually got him a new game to try this year, called Herd Mentality. It sounds like it might be fun for a group, and we do like games where we are all participating. My favorites are Taboo and Pictionary—both group games.

I’ve got a simmering potpourri in the mini crockpot and a little kitty on my lap. I did some mild decorating for the holidays, so we have a little bit of a cozy atmosphere in our living room. It feels good to sit here and type. You can take a peek at what I added on my recent video on the YouTube Channel.

I’ve shared any of our typical Thanksgiving menu items, but I may also try a vegan pecan pie if I can find some pecans without having to rob a bank. I have walnuts—have you ever heard of a walnut pie? I may do some research about that and do some experimenting just for fun.
