Welcome to the blog hop, and welcome to my blog!

Out here in upper East Tennessee, on our off grid homestead, we pay attention to the weather. Today we have sunshiny skies! That helps us to pump water to our holding tank from the well.

So, looks like a good day for laundry today! I’ll use the latest technology combining wind power, solar rays, and convection (or was that conduction?) to dry my clothes. In other words, I’ll hang them on the line to dry. It works pretty well!

Thanks for coming by! Hope you get a lot done today wherever you live!

  1. I love this. I think I’m going to make a note to join in next week.
I used to love hanging laundry on the clothesline, but living in Tempe (120+ in the summer), it’s just not the same. They don’t get the soft airy dry feeling.

  2. Your post brought back memories from when I was a very young girl and my grandmother would hang clothes on the line. My dad hooked a pully to a pole in the yard and gramma would stand on the back porch and as she hung the clothes, she would pully the clothes line. We live in a subdivision where clothes lines aren’t allowed but I like to drape the sheets over a few chairs just before they finish drying to get the nice outdoor smell.

What is your experience? 💜 I read every comment, and so many times I find that I gain encouragement from what’s shared. ❤️
