Welcome to the Homestead Blog Hop!
Our Snowmageddon did not happen. We just got a dusting. Other friends of ours have quite a lot. I’m jealous.
The second day after our light dusting of snow, everything froze, so we did end up getting iced in a bit, not not in a bad way. In other words, we still had power, and wood, and no real change except for not being able to leave.
As I don’t drive on ice, I am perfectly fine with that. Now, they are claiming we will get 3-5” of snow this weekend. We are beginning to have trust issues with the weather men.
Today, I see sunshine, which helps me to feel more happy. Happy because it brings me power, and because it just elevates my mood.
I hope you stay warm where you are. Just a reminder to keep up your preparedness measures as you can, so that emergencies aren’t so much of an interruption.
