Crisp air,
Toasty fires,
Flannel sheets,
Blankets piled high,
A snuggly cat,
Bright stars,
Misty mornings,
Garden’s end.
All these and more whisper Autumn has come.
Dark nights,
Spider webs,
Apples to munch,
Leaves to crunch.
Bike rides,
Country roads,
Brisk walks,
Cozy talks.
Autumn brings happiness.
Autumn uplifts.
Autumn gives zest.
Autumn’s a gift.
LOVE it! And it makes me ready for the cooler temps that have not yet arrived here, where I live.
I feel autumn more when leaves crunch under my feet and I try not to procrastinate sweeping them up. Also, when cafes blow out their pumpkin spice, lol
