Jack Frost did some decorating!

He and left his unique creations around the homestead

This will be a largely silent post, showcasing the unique art of Jack Frost, aka The Master Designer, who we all really know is God!

My only commentary will be for explanation.

I halted classes for half an hour and assigned the boys to find frosty artwork before the rising sun melted away all evidence of the creations!

I found some amazing ice crystals!

But the boys found better shots and showed me up!

Enjoy God’s icy transformation of ordinary nature objects!  He can make all things into a work of art!

Psalm 147:16-18

He gives snow like wool;
He scatters the frost like ashes.
He casts forth His ice as fragments;
Who can stand before His cold?
He sends forth His word and melts them;
He causes His wind to blow and the waters to flow.

  1. Beautiful photos. I liked them all from a photographic standpoint however the snowy stump appealed to me the most for some reason.

      1. Nothing wrong with that. Some of the phones take amazing photos. I follow a page on FB that is dedicated to macro photography of insects, mainly spiders. With a macro adapter for the phone, many of the shots are as phenomenal as the ones taken by a Nikon or other regular camera. Enjoying nature no matter how is all that counts in my opinion.

  2. Love your photos! We had a ton of snow. I shovelled and shovelled. I tried to cross country ski but I couldn’t get my boots into my bindings. I think ice got in the way. So I came home and shovelled some more.

What is your experience? 💜 I read every comment, and so many times I find that I gain encouragement from what’s shared. ❤️
