Gratitude

The Lord has been impressing me more lately that no matter what my circumstances, there is always something that I can see that is good.

Happy sunflower

Always something to be thankful for. That’s how choosing gratitude can change us from the inside out.

Life has honestly kept me bogged down a lot. And I’ve accepted that as a way of life. But why?

Because it’s easier I guess. You have to fight it and sometimes you don’t feel like you have the strength.

But what about “I can do all things through Christ who strengtheneth me.”

It’s either true or it’s not.

I’m choosing to believe it.Fall mums

Today I’m grateful for

  • Sunflower fields (our family visited yesterday)
  • Old friends I ran into yesterday
  • Cats who take walks with me.

Your turn.

What are you grateful for today?

Thanks for coming by!

  2. Today, I am grateful for time spent with family. We had an emotional morning yesterday as we placed my sister-in-laws ashes in her final resting place. I’m remembering the good times and taking forward the reminder that we can never know how much time we have left, make the most of it while you can.

  3. Laurie,

  4. Hi Laurie. Love the sunflower’s smiley face! Thanks so much for hosting. I linked up with #12 HAVE THEY LOST THEIR MINDS? Also, I’d like to invite you to linkup at some of my link parties.

  5. What a great question! I’m grateful for a lot of things today. Being with my family, good health, a comfortable home, and having a job that I love are just a few of the things on my list. I’m also grateful for the little things, like a delicious cup of coffee in the morning or being able to take a walk on a beautiful day.

It’s always important to remember the things we’re grateful for, even when things are tough. Gratitude can help us see the positive in our lives and appreciate the good, even when bad things are happening.

By the way, have you seen my site, https://AllAboutGratitude.com

  7. I’m not sure if my first attempt to comment was saved. I got an unusual pop-up. But I’m thankful for your blog and for the reminder that gratitude really is a choice like so much else in life when it comes to our attitudes.

What is your experience? 💜 I read every comment, and so many times I find that I gain encouragement from what’s shared. ❤️
